„Decor-glass”
Unfortunately, so-called “decor glass” is produced in increasing quantities, where patterns cast from transparent synthetic resin are combined with lead tapes glued to flat glass on both sides. Contourers, glass stickers, pull-off paints, etc. are great for hobby artists, but not suitable to create lasting value. It also happens that lead glass is replaced by different plastic foils or by cold glass paints. It is important not to confuse these items from industrial mass production with genuine glass art.
